Oath Setting Ritual

In honor of the Tree Rider, Wisdom Seeker Odin in his aspect of "Yulnir" The Yule Father. We will be encouraging all guests to create an oath, or "resolution" for the coming year. Each oath will be cast into the Yule Log's fire as we meditate on it's meaning to the life we wish to see fulfilled in 2025.

Mead Tasting
Together we brewed mead on the Summer Solstice this year. The time has come to taste each blend made by the summers guests. The meads featured are as listed:
Goblin Gold - A pulpy Mango mead in honor of the Booze goblin "Midas Well"
Big Pie Energy - Cinnamon, Apple, clove, packing big flavor.
Emerald Verde - Lime, Kiwi non tradition flavor.
Left On Red - Raspberry, blueberry classic.
Make Your Mark - Traditional Sweetened Honey.
Each guest who created a mead will also be leaving with a full bottle of their own.
Light The Yule Log
A classic Tradition
Scare away the dark elves with a bit of fire magick. While the lighting of the Yule log may only last a moment, the welcoming back of the sun lasts all night, as does the flame.
Can you survive the longest night of the year?

Drinks & Chestnuts Over a Yule Fire
Celebrate with ceremonials toasts as well as fire roasted chestnuts, chicken, and various vegetables.
Honor The Old Gods
Ritual To The Spirits of Winter, And the rebirth of the sun.
The day begins with a calling to the runes, and the welcoming back of the sun.
Each guest will be offered a rune pull and a blessings rune stave enchanted by the wild spirits that walk the winter land.

Things To Bring
Would you like to contribute to the celebration? Here is a list of the supplies still required!

Home Baked Cookies
Any type of cookies or home baked treats is welcome!

Chestnuts
These deceptively expensive nuts are worth their weight in gold.

Cookie Boxes
With the excess of baked goods we're expecting, guests will need boxes to bring some home!

Alcohol
Bourbon, Mead, Seltzer, IPA all welcome!

Firewood
The fire will burn all night. We'll need plenty of hardwood to keep it going.

Any Side Dish
Breads are great to share, but any home cooked side is a wonderful addition.
